This candle is cedar, honey and patchouli scented to mirror the smokiness of grief and the sweet balm of support we need as we process it.

Grief can feel never-ending
All-consuming
Paralyzing.
As I was guided to create these candles, I was navigating a grief I had never known before.
One that felt like my insides were taken from me, 
held in my line of sight, 
and torched.
Torture.
It dawned on me that in all our lives, every single one of us will have to experience this adjustment to a new reality. 
We will have to say goodbye.
And so these candles are born from a desire to transition from goodbye to hello. Not to avoid grief, but to allow ourselves to process it.
To move through it, in all its gore and pain.
As I poured these candles, my nervous system was restless, 
buzzing,
shaking,
crawling to escape my skin.
So I leaned in. 
I felt it all,
I breathed through it,
I gave my body permission to process it.
Not to run away.
Not to avoid it.
Not to escape.
But to move through.
These are a little different than my other intention candles. 
In the past, I’ve created candles to call in energies we feel are lacking.
The Grief candle is intended to honor where we’re at, even if its not where we want to be.
